Members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade role-playing looters escape a notional department store while other Soldiers training in a reaction force role attempt to prevent their escape during an April 5 training exercise with Milwaukee-area law enforcement at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in West Allis. Soldiers took turns training in a reaction force role in support of local law enforcement as well as portraying looters and rioters. This type of training addresses communication skills between agencies and improves understanding and collaboration between local law enforcement and the Wisconsin National Guard.
