All 112 graduating cadets earned their high school equivalency diploma and up to 16 college credits. The voluntary Challenge Academy is a cost-free alternative education program that reshapes the lives of students 16 to 19 years old who are at risk of not graduating high school. Using a structured, military-styled environment and state-certified teachers and counselors, Challenge Academy builds cadets’ academic abilities, character, self-confidence and personal discipline. Challenge Academy graduates equipped to face more promising future

MAUSTON, Wis. — 112 cadets from 40 counties graduate from Wisconsin National Guard Challenge Academy

Medical staff from Aurora Medical Center-Summit’s emergency and trauma center wait for a Wisconsin Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter to arrive so they can move notional patients to the emergency room during a mass casualty exercise May 31. The scenario called for a single Black Hawk crew to medically evacuate three victims critically injured by a building collapse. A Black Hawk can transport up to four litter-borne patients, as opposed to civilian air ambulances which carry only one patient. One of the mock patients would later be transferred by Black Hawk to Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. Audacious Warrior provides joint training opportunities

During the past week more than 5,000 Soldiers have arrived at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) on Fort Johnson, Louisiana to take part in a month-long training exercise led by the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team. As they arrive the Soldiers in-process, gather gear, help offload vehicles from trains and semis, perform maintenance checks, and install MILES (multiple integrated laser engagement system) on everything from personal weapons to all varieties of vehicles, all while acclimating to the Louisiana heat and humidity. Wisconsin Army Guard’s ‘Red Arrow’ brigade begins major training event

FORT JOHNSON, La. — The JRTC and Fort Johnson prepare multi-component units and Soldiers for combat.

Soldiers with the Wisconsin National Guard’s 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) conduct a rail movement May 14, 2024, that includes more than 800 pieces of equipment on nearly 200 railcars at the railyard at Fort McCoy, Wis. Warrant Officer 1 Eric Frank with the 32nd IBCT who helped plan the movement, said this was “the largest rail movement with civilian linehaul the Wisconsin National Guard has ever done.” The 32nd is completing the operation to move the vehicles and equipment for a future training rotation. Unit movement officers with the 32nd coordinated the plans to complete the movement. 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Soldiers complete ‘largest rail movement with civilian linehaul Wisconsin National Guard has ever done’

The 32nd IBCT sent its equipment and vehicles for a future rotation of training at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk), La. Frank said the rail movement was about six months in the making.
