115 FW Safety Office awarded highest level of OSHA recognition

Madison, Wis. — The 115th Fighter Wing has been awarded the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program Star status making it one of only two flying wings in the Air National Guard and Air Combat Command to receive the prestigious award. The VPP Star is OSHA's highest level of recognition awarded to employers and employees who demonstrate exemplary achievement in the prevention and control of occupational safety and health hazards.

Wisconsin’s “Maverick” Battalion mobilizes for deployment

TOMAH, Wis. — Wisconsin National Guard Soldiers with the 732nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion were mobilized to active duty November 30, for a U.S. Central Command deployment.

115th Fire Department Sweeps the Board

MADISON, Wis. — Members of the 115th Fighter Wing Fire and Emergency Services along with 115th Mission Support Group leadership accepted several Air National Guard level awards for 2023 at the annual Air National Guard Fire Chief’s Association banquet in Port Charlotte, Florida July 31, 2024.

Gov. Tony Evers presents Wisconsin flags to 1st Lt. Jason Permann and Staff Sgt. Joe Perezvilla of the 457th Chemical Company, as well as the leaders of deploying units representing more than 300 Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldiers, during a formal sendoff ceremony Sept. 28 at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Camp Douglas, Wis. The Soldiers, who are a part of the 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry Regiment, the 1st Battalion, 120th Field Artillery Regiment, the 132nd Brigade Support Battalion and the 457th Chemical Company, will be deploying to both U.S. Central Command in Southwest Asia and U.S. Africa Command, Horn of Africa. Wisconsin Army Guard deploys more than 300 Soldiers

VOLK FIELD, Wis. — Wisconsin National Guard Soldiers — part of the 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry Regiment, the 1st Battalion, 120th Field Artillery Regiment, the 132nd Brigade Support Battalion and the 457th Chemical Company — will deploy to both U.S. Central Command in Southwest Asia and U.S. Africa Command, Horn of Africa to support ongoing operations through tactical missions, and provide medical care capabilities across the region.

Former members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 229th Engineer Company in Platteville, Wis., gathered for a unit reunion Aug. 1 at Moundview Park in Platteville.
